El LOW3 participarà el primer trimestre del 2014 a la iniciativa MIRASOL, FEM AMBIENT, dirigida i coordinada per CICLICA, amb el taller estalviem aigua i energia a casa.

Els tallers monogràfics proposats són molt diversos, i són el primer pas d'aquesta experiència pilot d'introducció d'estratègies sostenibilistes a nivell local des de la participació ciutadana i la iniciativa veïnal.

EDUCATIONAL VISIT of the CIC ESCOLA DE BATXILLERATS

[eng] CIC Escola de Batxillerats (high school) from Barcelona has participated in an educational visit to Living Lab LOW3. The 27 students explored during half a day the house and got known to its sustainability concepts regarding bioclimatic architecture, solar energy (thermal and photovoltaic), HVAC, and the house management and control system. The active measurements of energy consumptions and productions as well as comfort conditions together with the use of online tools for calculation and experiments with the solar kitchen allowed again a experience based and participatory introduction into sustainable architecture and lifestyle.

BTV, the local TV channel of Barcelona, accompanied the activity for an emission within its magazine “Conexió Barcelona” in the next weeks.

EUROPEAN SOLAR PRIZE / PREMI SOLAR EUROPEU 2013

[cat] El Living Lab LOW3  va rebre el divendres 29 de novembre el Premi Solar Europeu 2013 de l’associació Eurosolar per les seves activitats innovadores de formació en energies renovables i sostenibilitat. En l’acte de lliurament del Premi, que ha tingut lloc a la seu del KfW Bankengruppe a Berlín, en Torsten Masseck i la Laia Núñez Pinart han rebut aquest premi europeu de mans del president de l’associació, Prof. Peter Droege.

[eng] Living Lab LOW3 has been honoured last Friday, 29th of November, with the European Solar Prize 2013 by the Eurosolar Association for its innovative teaching activities in the field of renewable energies and sustainability. During the ceremony, which took place at the KfW Bankengruppe in Berlin, Torsten Masseck and Laia Núñez i Pinart received this European prize by the president of the association, Prof. Peter Droege.
